About Long Shore
Imagine a collection of 14 terraced houses, each with three bedrooms and bathrooms, in one of the most beautiful corners of Auckland. We’re talking about homes that offer the freedom and security of an apartment but with the space and style of a full-sized house. Sounds pretty cool, right?
That’s what Long Shore is all about. These houses are not only spacious and beautiful, but they also promise easy living. Being low maintenance and part of a warm, welcoming community, you’ll enjoy a relaxed lifestyle on the coast.
Our Role at THE DESIGNFIRE
We got to play an integral role in this project, and it was a fantastic ride. As fire engineering design consultants, we were responsible for both the fire engineering and passive fire design. On top of that, we had our eyes on the ground, making regular site observations to ensure our designs were implemented correctly.
At THE DESIGNFIRE , we believe that safety and style can go hand in hand. So, for Long Shore, we worked our magic to make sure these homes were not just safe, but also aesthetically pleasing. We’re delighted to say, we did it!

Having put the finishing touches on Long Shore, we’re raring to bring our fire safety solutions to more homes and developments. Our goal is always to protect communities while improving living conditions and we’re excited about the opportunities on the horizon.
