Overview
The site as presented was a gentle flat ground with two separate titles of land which united to form the industrial building. The industrial building itself had a 2,170m² floor area that accommodated showroom, office, storage and manufacturing factory for manufacturing the APL’s windows, doors and hardware.
Solution
Our primary responsibility was to ensure that the correct fire engineering principle into this architecturally designed building. The front part of the building is a full three-level structure, comprised of showroom and offices. With the proposed height, facade requires to be carefully designed to ensure appropriate passive fire design principle can be incorporated. With our thoughtful consulting input early on the project provided client options and risk to choose to move forward with the project.
THE DESIGNFIRE also provided full passive fire design specification and emergency lighting design.
