Won Silver Award at Commercial Project Award 2024

We are thrilled to announce that THE DESIGNFIRE has been awarded a silver award at the prestigious Commercial Project Award gala dinner in Wellington for our work on a dental clinic establishment in Albany. This recognition is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and expertise of our team.

The Albany dental clinic project was a unique challenge for us, as the operation included with anaesthesia treatment operations. The clinic houses six general dental studios and two specialized anaesthesia studios, which required a higher level of fire safety requirements and additional compliance standards associated with anaesthetics.

Despite the complexities involved, our team rose to the occasion and delivered a beautiful, functional, and compliant space. We were fortunate that the base building was already equipped with a full sprinkler system and smoke detectors, but there was still a significant amount of coordination required to ensure the project’s success.

We want to express our gratitude to our partners, Design House, the main contractor on this project, and our supportive clients who were with us every step of the way. Their collaboration and trust in our abilities were instrumental in bringing this project to life.

Attending the Commercial Project Award gala dinner was an humbling experience, as we were surrounded by many outstanding entries. However, we are incredibly proud of our team and their accomplishments. This silver award is a reflection of their expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
