It is a very challenging steep site, with big ONF (Outstanding Nature Feature) area in the back which can’t be touched at all.
The client wanted to maximize the floor area, so the design had to be very carefully thought about and fit into the existing environment smartly.
Working closely with other consultants is an essential, and balance all the related aspects to the site is very important.
Final design outcomes are 2 blocks of terrace houses with different floor levels which reflect the steep site, similar color scheme and building form make them as a whole and look concise and modern.
