Solution
THE DESIGNFIRE is currently processing to complete construction fire report and passive fire design based on the approved design.
Recently the aspect of fire engineering and passive fire design has become one of the major consideration in executing detailing of such development. Early engagement with key stakeholders is the key to agree on the financial, buildability implication early on.
In Detail
Working closely with other consultants is essential, and balance all the related aspects to the site is very important.
In particular, due to the car parking manoeuvring requirement, at the same time trying to maximise the floor area, the design has some overhanging floors on the boundary. THE DESIGNFIRE provided early fire engineering advise regarding additional fire rating requirements around this, and this was incorporated early into documentation process to ensure the whole projects progressing smoothly.
